DSTV My Super Sweet World Hosts At Meloncino

INNOCENCE AND EVIL: Cousins Liz Stone, a fashion design graduate, left, and Elena Pappas, a health sciences student, both 21, will be featured on MTV's My Super Sweet World Class.They took some time off to visit Meloncino recently.


DStv viewers familiar with MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 parties definitely shouldn’t miss the offshoot, My Super Sweet World Class, screening on Sunday night.
Cousins Liz Stone and Elena Pappas, who count the Locnville twins among their personal friends, are the season opener hosts for the youth channel’s new series.

INTO AFRICA : INSPIRATIONAL GROUP ENJOY A DINE-AROUND

We hosted a group from Scandinavia who were visiting Cape Town for the first time.

They enjoyed a sunset cruise on the "Spirit of Victoria" followed by a "Dine Around" at Greek Fisherman, City Grill and Meloncino. Dine Around is the flexible pre-paid option plan that allows guests to choose any restaurant in the group for meals. Guests have more opportunities to choose where and what they would like to eat from the different restaurants.

Guests from the Mining Indaba

During the recent Mining Indaba that took place in Cape Town, our restaurants were packed full. Global professionals and the world’s leading experts on African mining gathered at  Cape Town International Convention Centre. After a long day, delegates made their way across to the V&A Waterfront where they relaxed at City Grill, Greek Fisherman & Meloncino.

CITY GRILL'S SPECIALITY DISHES

At City Grill, big appetites are essential and South Africa is the flavour of the month, every month! Dig into dishes that are drenched in African spirit and kept traditional with choices like Frikkadels on a Skewer and Ostrich Fillet Steak. 

Giant Grilled Mixed Venison Skewer
Crocodile, ostrich, warthog, kudu, home-made venison sausage, red bell peppers and dried fruit skewered and grilled with a quince-jelly sauce.















Ostrich Fillet Steak
Marinated in orange juice, soya sauce and ginger.

GREEK FISHERMAN'S SPECIALITY DISHES

At the Greek Fisherman, you can expect traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes. But, we also believe in moving with the times, so we’ve added a modern twist to our otherwise classic cuisine. 

Here are some of our favourites:

Mussels and Scallops
Out-of-shell mussels and scallops, sautéed until golden brown and served with home-made mayonnaise and skordalia (potato purée with garlic).
















Grilled Octopus
Another classic delicacy from the islands. Fresh octopus grilled on the open coals, drizzled with EVO, fresh lemon and oregano. (Please note that octopus is not as tender as calamari.)

Oyster Cerviche
2 freshly shucked oysters, marinated with lemon and lime juice, flavoured with garlic, fresh coriander and a hint of chili, served with a creamy avocado salsa. 

Atherina (White Bait)
Baby fish dusted with flour and crisp-fried, served with lemon.
